I want to make a GIF out of a video but when I go to File > Import > Video Frames To Layers and select my video, this is what appears: 
It`s just white and the video doesn`t apper.
The format of the video is .AVI if that`s any help. But when I try other videos in the same format, the video appears. *To get the video, I captured it using KM Player because the whole video was too long. ( It`s a movie. ) How do I fix this?

I have very recently had to re-install Vista on my laptop and lost all my icon psds/etc. So I am trying to work out how I got the colouring on the following icons. I know the colouring came from a tutorial, and it consisted of three selective colouring layers (the same one, duplicated twice) but after searching my tutorial memories, I can't find it. I used the same colouring on all three icons.   
ETA - the selective colouring layers brightened the image as well as giving it the colouring, if that helps. |
